"Humor" programmer på tv er flaut, karaoke er til å grave seg ned av, Stand up er pinlig. Jeg er ikke lett å underholde. Jeg vet det... Dette er mitt første sett med ATC. Jeg har liksom aldri fått grepet på hva man skal bruke dem til, og jeg vil lage ting som skal brukes. Dessuten har jeg store problemer med tekster... noen er alt for søte, såkalte "visdomsord" som jeg synes er helt forferdelig å spre om seg med. Andre som pun er ofte så dumme at jeg får hetta. En ATC trenger liksom en tekst. Men så finnes det jo noen av det sarkastiske slaget da heldigvis og det synes jeg er helt fortreffelig:) Teksten er fra Tim Holtz (dog noe moderert til mitt formål)

Jeg hadde egentlig ingen plan om å lage ATC men så ble jeg
inspirert av en utfordring hos Lost cost portal to creativity. Jeg
har fått et nært og kjært forhold til denne lille apen fra Carmens
Veranda og dessuten fikk jeg brukt en gel bakgrunn med masse
acryl maling og struktur fra noen merkelige plast plater mor fant
på bruktbutikk. De er flotte til gel print som jeg har i en etter
hvert diger bunke av:)
Jeg kan ingen ting om fargelegging, men denne lille karen er ganske
tilgivende. Jeg har først embosset ham i sort. Så har jeg brukt en
lysebrun distress ink lagt på med vann pensel. Jeg har latt stempelet
stå for skyggene. Øynene har jeg farget med blå distress ink og da den
var tør la jeg på litt grønt så vidt her og der for å få litt spill i dem. På
kantene har jeg brukt stilken på en blomst fra Rubber Dance til å
stemple en slags ramme. Så har jeg splattet litt sort akrylmaling og
limt på apen og teksten. Nå må jeg bare finne noe å bruke dem til:)
