Sommerfugl jenta og teksten er stempel fra Rubber Dance. Normalt ville jeg klippet henne ut og brukt henne på en Mixed Media bakgrunn men denne gangen ble det nesten et CAS kort:) Når jeg planlegger å fargelegge et stempel embosser jeg dem for å få litt hjelp av forhøyningene embossing pulveret lager. Jeg bruker oftest distress ink og vann pensel, men her har jeg øvd litt på å bruke tynn rund pensel og acryl maling.
Når jeg får stempler fra Rubber Dance så kommer de i konvolutt
som er av Tyvek. Jeg har ikke funnet noen måte å få tak i tyvek
uten å kjøpe flere meter og betale en formue så jeg passer godt på
konvoluttene slik at jeg kan lage disse perlene av dem:)
Jeg maler papiret først, så klipper jeg trekanter som jeg ruller på
en strikkepinne. Så bruker jeg varmepistolen for å "smelte" dem.
Det gjør at de "krymper litt og smelter fast på seg selv" Etterpå er
de ganske harde og man kan feste ting og tang på dem med lim,
tau eller som jeg har gjort med ståltråd.
Det gjelder å bruke det man har av resurser og dette er en fryktelig
morsom gjenvinnings metode:) jeg har brukt noen smykkedeler som
pynt og festet perlene til et silkebånd slik at det ble en ganske stor
tag/postkort.
